Rewinding the chronological order of events, the records give a fair idea of the terror hovering over the world. We humans as a race are one, so generalizing the fact, it could be phrased as human beings are the only ones who give birth to this terror and spread it exaggeratedly and contrarily criticize it. In fact, this is the race which is involved in these destructive activities. Such tendencies of the brain-washed civilians divide the country leaving the quotient of wrathful revolts and bloodshed and remainder of painful mourns and ashes.
Walking upon the bygone burials gives a heart pounding sensation. The land about which we gladly assert that it belongs to our nation and take it for granted has its own story to tell, that how it was once irrigated with the blood of those who became the victims of the terror attacks. Such incidents give truly bothering intuitions about the future. The future is a mystery deciphered by time but evolved by the present and the present is the one which is affected by the past.
But now the question arises how? The present is in our hands and as stated by great people, it is the most important time because it is the only time when we have any power. The manner in which we utilize that power affects us directly. Stating an example, the revolutionized technology holds a dagger at the scientist’s throat. The way this power of technology will be utilized will determine the veracity of the above stated fact. Either the civilizations would flourish with the help of nuclear power as in case of Japan which even being in dearth of natural resources, utilized the nuclear energy to generate electricity or else the lands could forever remain quiescent in the pages of history by the attack of nuclear power, as again in the case of Japan’s Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Whilst busy in terrorism and warfare, our mother earth is often neglected. Expression of superiority through armament sets ablaze the world. The fact is accepted that terror attacks and wars cause death of the victims but on the far side of the world, the nature takes its revenge. And in this revengeful inferno, not only the people suffer but the mute animals who don’t have any role to play in mankind’s futile conflicts endanger their lives. The temperature of the poles in the far north and south increases, leading to melting of glaciers and subsequent floods. Natural calamities have become general discussion topics. The dreadful consequences also have another face which acts as the link between mother earth’s purity and man’s dark side. The calamities are not only the killers and destroyers of families but they are also responsible for the widespread destruction of resources. This results in their shortage and there starts another conflict about the possession of resources between different parties. The destitute become more impoverished and helpless while the rich’s conditions are stable.
This fact is widely recognized that the world is too small wherein everything is linked to each other and thus the betterment of one will automatically do good to the other. Thus, the present is the time we should commence working towards the good cause lest the outbursts should amplify and invite the World War III and the countdown begins…
