Hey reader!
After my last post of part I on March 2, 2022, you must have progressed through many situations and surely your interactions with people would also have expanded. The types of persons of all kinds in our vicinity from strong and assertive to patient and observant is never-ending. Thus, I bring to you another list of interesting features of the personalities of ‘The People Around You’.
Kindly note that these characters are fictitious and only for reading and entertainment purposes.
The all-time tension insurance policy agent. The ones who would ensure that the cloud of stress always looms over your head. These people would keep warning you of the obstacles ahead and the challenges you will be facing in the undefined future. But after their list of problems has ended, they would sign off at a positive note that don’t worry, don’t take tension, we are always with you. These people talk in such a manner about the dangers ahead as if they are trying to persuade you to buy their insurance policy in order to avert them and then give you relief by their promise of always having your back, just like insurance agents.
The low mood; all work, no play; dull kind. Ever worked or been with such people? If yes, have you noticed any specific characteristic about them? Well, my observation says, they seldom smile. They are high on productivity, but low on enthusiasm. That doesn’t obviously mean that they don’t enjoy what they do, but always being in their own shell, less interaction and a bland vibe is just a part of their personality. But this trait cannot be compared with negativity, it’s just that these people like gold, the silence.
The GASES – Laughing gas and Tear gas. You would have been able to guess by the names, these are the owners of extreme emotions. The laughing gas is the opposite of the previous kind. They laugh in any and every situation and often without any apparent reason. But their laughter doesn’t mean optimism or positivity. It’s just their habit to laugh a lot unnecessarily which proves to be annoying in certain situations. Now, the tear gas. Just try to be critical or straightforward, and they would launch into an emotional outburst. They are not weak, but rather their tears are their weapon. How? Just think, would you be able to ever disclose anything harsh to them bluntly without fearing their watering eyes?
The puncture. We are always excited when we get to know something knew and wish to share it with someone. Sometimes our newly gathered piece of information may be fascinating for us, but could be trivial for others. So, this variety of humans are very efficient at puncturing your eagerness. The balloon filled with your enthusiasm, just pops with a great bang when they say, ‘So what do you want me to do with that? These are also poor at conversations, you try to strike a conversation and they would shut it down quite soon, such is their art.
Think to do something, act un-accordingly, then repent. Today I would behave and do the job outstandingly. I won’t repeat my past mistakes. I will remain undeterred in all circumstances. Such are this kind’s promises even for the simplest of actions. But they would definitely forget them at the time of fulfilment and repeat their mistakes. But what’s worse, they would come to you, cry before you, repent for their actions, and you have to be sympathetic and console them when you at the inside perfectly well know that they would repeat the same cycle their next time at work.
The interfering. They will force you into being agitated by poking their nose in your business all the time. Where are you going? What is in your glass? What are you watching on the phone? They will constantly keep a watchful eye on you and figure out questions even if you dare to make the slightest of movement. Are you leaving as yet? No, my back is paining while sitting straight, just shifting my position. Are you sleeping? What do you suppose? By the way, you woke me up, by asking this question. What to do with such people around? You would possibly be already doing this, shout at them ‘Why don’t you mind your business?’ But would they listen?
The eye on the clock. Everyone follows or at least tries to follow a routine, for we believe that having a routine is the key to a healthy lifestyle. But what about the people who live by the watch. Their daily activities are strictly confined within the bounds of time. Their work, leisure time, sleep, everything is according to the clock so strictly that there isn’t even a grace of half of an hour to continue to relax. One hour has passed, already? It is time to pause the web series final episode just before the climax and resume your tedious work. This kind of timetable may sound suffocating and monotonous but bears fruit in the long run. Those who pose to be the masters of time, they suffer; the slaves of time suffer; time proves to be a very good friend, so befriend it whole-heartedly.
All of us go through numerous situations in the course of life which may be good or bad. Some people push us into them and some pull us out. Some prove to be our great supporters and some by playing the opposition provide us the motivation to pave our path to success. But whatever the case may be, we are always surrounded by people, distant from us or close to us, it doesn’t matter. I hope my list of their amusing traits would have succeeded in bringing a smile to you.
