You might have met many people in the course of your life till date and surely will be meeting a lot of wonderful ones ahead. But have you ever paused and observed all the unique people around you, all with their distinctive characteristics. Before reading further, just take a minute and recall as many as you can and then see if anyone listed below rings a bell with you…

The Follow-Me kind who, as the name suggests, like that people follow them. They just love it when people ask for their advice and then even put that piece of wisdom into practice in their lives. This kind wouldn’t mind to condemn your proposed opinion if it isn’t in line with their strong beliefs and comes in the way of their pleasure of advising people. What do you do when such people are around? I would suggest the only safeguard against such people is never verbalize your opinion before them and just hear them out, if it can’t be avoided, to keep them pleased.
The soft on the outside but hard on the inside. You may have commonly heard about the coconut like personality, which seems to be stern on first impression but deep-down has a very emotional and soft heart; but what about the opposite? These enchanting personalities are very influencing and occasional meetings with them can be a stress booster. You only begin to realize the truth when you have frequent dealings with them. They are good at conversing and quite impressive but when it comes to real work, they know how to dodge the responsibility and the most interesting bit is that you don’t for long even realize them not working to the desired level by keeping you entangled in their trap of words.
The negative news bundle. Ever wanted to be updated about the negative happenings around you, then an interaction with these people will never disappoint you. These are not the critical kind who pursue finding faults as a hobby. These are the updated people who from different sources have gathered information which they mostly keep to themselves. But if you happen to pick up a topic for which they already have a negative piece of news in mind, then they can’t hold themselves and the negativity spills over and gets transferred to your knowledge.
The moody. A little bit of self-centred everyone is, which I would say is natural and also important. But this kind is an advanced version which I would describe to you in a single but long sentence: These people would love to have a conversation or spend time with you and would also drop a hint to make you understand, but only if they are free and if their wish gets fulfilled, then the entire thing is shifted on you at the end with them saying that they hoped you would have enjoyed their company while you were free and had a good refreshment and pass of time.
The absent-minded who only wish to understand what they want to. There is also another variant in this: The forgetful ones who only remember things concerning their interests. I suppose this one is self-explanatory so I would keep it brief; but surely an elaborate meeting with such a person is always an interesting and exhilarating experience. These people would only hear what they want to otherwise there is some issue with their hearing ability. They would only accept what they want to, otherwise they are very stubborn. You are supposed to only say what they wish to hear, otherwise they expect you to think that you are talking to the walls.
The extremist. These are regular people otherwise but just wait for the one fine day when they get an idea for something which is then followed by an earthquake of extremism. Want to have plants at home; they won’t start their gardening journey with 10-15 plants but 50 plants would be made a part of their family. There is one positive in these people, they are unaffected and unbreakable by the several distracting factors around them. If they decide to start a routine of a daily morning walk, they would go out early morning every day whether it is hot or cold, sunny or windy unless it’s raining, of course.
Who cares. Taking difficulties in stride is a common saying and should be executed in daily life. But these people are next level. You won’t find them worried about anything. Whatever may happen, no matter how tough a problem gets, they will appear carefree in situations where other people might freak out. And mind you, this is not a calm or a resilient attitude but a careless and unconcerned one. And to top it all, this coolness is infectious and communicable, because whenever you are stressed or are in anxiety around this kind of people, they would simply ask you to change your outlook and feel light and relaxed.
